24 February (Talks) Indian Agricultural Research Institute Pusa has developed a solar powered freeze to prevent damage to farmers due to loss of fruits and vegetables.
Institute Director Ashok Kumar Singh said in a press conference on Wednesday that the technology of free energy-freeze has been developed by the Engineering Department. The maintenance cost of Pusa Farm Sun Freeze is zero and two tonnes of fruits and vegetables can be stored in it.
