New Delhi. On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Diamond Jubilee of High Court of Gujarat through video conferencing. On this special occasion, Prime Minister Modi also released a commemorative postage stamp. Addressing the program, PM Modi said that the duty and devotion with which the Gujarat High Court has worked for truth and justice, the readiness for its constitutional duties has strengthened both the Indian judicial system and India’s democracy.

Important things about PM Modi’s address-

Everyone feels proud to hear that our Supreme Court itself has become the highest hearing Supreme Court in the world through video conference.

The Digital India Mission is modernizing our justice system very fast today. Today, more than 18 thousand courts have been computerized in the country. E-processing has increased in all courts only after the Supreme Court has received legal conferences from video conferencing and teleconferencing.

PM Narendra Modi

The ideals of justice which have been a part of the Indian rites, justice is the right of every Indian. Therefore, it is the responsibility of both the judicial and the government to create a world class justice system in the world’s largest democracy.

Our justice system should be such that it is also accessible to the person standing on the last rung of society, where justice is guaranteed for every person and justice is guaranteed in time. The government is also making continuous efforts to fulfill its duties in this direction.

Confidence in the judiciary has instilled confidence in the mind of the common citizen. Has given him the strength to stand up for the truth. We discuss the contribution of the judiciary in the journey of the country since independence, and also discuss the contribution of the bar.

Rule of law in Indian society has been the basis of civilization and social fabric for centuries. Our ancient texts say – Nyayamulam Surajya Syat. That is, the root of good governance lies in justice.
