Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that ensuring easy access to the government and its facilities is a major priority. Inaugurating ‘Vanyaj Bhavan’ and launching the Export Portal (NIRYAT) in Delhi on June 23, Prime Minister Modi said that there should be no hindrance in communicating with the government and making the government easily accessible is the prime priority of the government. The Prime Minister said that today is also the death anniversary of the country’s first Industries Minister Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookerjee. He said, “His policies, his decisions, his resolve, the fulfillment of his resolutions were very important in giving direction to independent India. Today the country is paying its humble tribute to him.” The Prime Minister said that in the new work culture of New India, the completion date is part of the SOP and is strictly adhered to. He said that the government’s projects should not be delayed for years, they are completed on time, the government’s schemes reach their goals, then only the taxpayer of the country is respected. Now we also have a modern platform in the form of PM Gatishakti National Master Plan.

He said that this commerce building will boost the ‘Gati Shakti’ of the nations. Prime Minister Modi said that this new commerce building is also a symbol of our achievements in the field of commerce during this period. He recalled that at the time of foundation stone laying, I had emphasized the need for innovation and improvement in the Global Innovation Index. Today we are ranked 46th on the Global Innovation Index and are continuously improving. He also talked about improving the Ease of Doing Business at that time, today more than 32000 unnecessary compliances have been removed. Similarly, at the time of foundation stone laying of the building, GST was new, today 1 lakh crore GST collection has become common practice. Talking about GeM, orders worth Rs 9 thousand crore were discussed, today more than 45 lakh small entrepreneurs are registered on the portal and orders worth more than 2.25 crore have been placed.
