On Friday, the White House said that Kotegal has been selected for the post of commissioner of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Singh as the Chief Financial Officer, Department of Housing and Urban Development. Like Kotegal, Vinay Singh is a public accountant. He is currently Senior Advisor to the Administrator for the US Small Business Administration (SBA). Cotegal is the Senior Advisor to the Administrator of the SBA, which works to provide organizational capabilities to better serve small businesses.
