The Ghats of Kshipra will be illuminated and every house and every street of the city will be illuminated. Preparations are on to decorate the entire city with 11 lakh lamps. For this, along with the administration, social organizations and city dwellers will also participate. For the first time in the city on Mahashivratri, Deepotsav is being organized on such a large scale.
On Mahashivratri, on March 1, 2022, preparations have officially started for decorating the city with 11 lakh lamps simultaneously. A meeting was held at Jupiter Bhavan on Monday to decide the outline of the grand event. In this, Higher Education Minister Mohan Yadav, MLA Paras Jain, Collector Ashish Singh and SP Satyendra Kumar Shukla along with other officials and officials of social organizations were involved.
In the meeting, Minister Yadav said that a five-member core committee of experts would be formed to organize the Deepotsav. This committee will decide in what form the event is to be celebrated. He exhorted the society to take responsibility on their behalf and make the committee clearly aware of the number of lamps and the place where they are to be installed.
