Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the digital budget of self-reliant Digital India for the financial year 2022-23. This budget is special in many ways. In the budget, the emphasis of the government can be clearly seen on the digital economy and all things related to it. There is an emphasis on digitization of all sectors like agriculture, education, health, defense and transport. With the introduction of 5G, India will enter a new era.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the budget for the financial year 2022-23 on Tuesday. He made many important announcements in this budget. But, all eyes were on the defense budget. This time the budget was focused on Make in India. Special attention was paid to reduce imports in the defense sector and to make the country self-reliant in the defense sector. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that development and research will be promoted in the defense sector.
To strengthen the defense sector, special emphasis has been given on development and research in the budget. Other options will also be explored in the defense sector through Make in India. More than 25 percent of the amount will be given to the senior, which will be used towards research and development.
The direction is visible in the budget according to the plan of self-reliant India, as well as steps have been taken to promote technology and to establish modern technology in a structured manner, especially in the agriculture sector.
