Is Mamta mistaking Goa as Bengal?

The election bugle has sounded in Goa. TMC’s expectation in Goa is based on three comprehensive calculations. State has substantial minority population, small constituency and political space beyond BJP and Congress. TMC has already given an example of this by settling Rohingya Muslims in Bengal. Therefore, he will never go in favor of TMC. TMC is also fighting Goa elections only in the name of anti-Modi and appeasement. It is also ridiculous to call Mamta an election face because she is not a national but a regional leader. Therefore, it is unlikely that the people of Goa should vote in the name of a regional Bengali leader. Nafisa Ali has been included in the party. But, TMC must remember that in the last election the margin of victory was less than 1,500 votes in almost 30% of the seats or 11 assembly constituencies.

In terms of overall election results, 25% of the seats were won by local parties and independent candidates. Mamta is making the mistake of mistaking Goa as Bengal, where the public chooses an actor in the name of a leader.
