The approval rating of Prime Minister Modi in the survey is 71 percent.
Mr. Modi is followed by Mexican President Andre Manuel López Obrador with 66 percent, and Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi third with 60 percent. In this survey, the US President is at number six with an approval rating of 43 percent and the British Prime Minister is at 13th place with 26 percent. According to the survey, the popularity of PM Modi seems to be increasing at a time when world leaders are facing declining popularity. In popularity, the Prime Minister is followed by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who are far behind them.
Modi became the longest-serving non-Congress Prime Minister, Prime Minister Modi set a unique record on August 14, 2020.
