India has a better rating in the list of best and worst places in the world during the pandemic. India’s position is better in Bloomberg’s Kovid Resilience Ranking. The situation in India had worsened due to the second wave of Corona in April-May this year. Despite this, according to the monthly snapshot in this ranking of Bloomberg, India is ranked 26th. India has done well in all the indicators. By speeding up the vaccination, we can be among the top-20. This shows that the corona virus infection is being controlled very effectively even in the midst of social and economic troubles in the country.

On the other hand, India is ranked fourth among the most powerful countries in the world by the Lowy Institute in Asia Power Index. India is depicted as the central power of Asia. This has been disclosed in the Asia Power Index 2021 report by the Lowy Institute in Sydney, the capital of Australia. In this a list of 26 countries has been released, in which America is at number one, China is at number two, Japan is at number three and India is at number four. India is seventh in terms of defense network and eighth in terms of economic relations. At the same time, in terms of recovery in the economy, the economic forecast for India 2030 has been reduced by almost two years. On the other hand, this time America has won double the help of China on the test of vaccine diplomacy of the Lowy Institute.

In this Kovid Resilience Ranking, nations have been assessed on the basis of 12 indicators. Among these, the most important contribution to India’s ranking was in November with the decision to reopen its borders to vaccinated citizens from many countries of the world. In the same month, the flight capacity was to be increased again to the level of 2019. This helped people to resume business and travel. Thanks to this, India is now included in the list of top 10 in the flight capacity recovery indicator. In India, the rate of infection per capita in November-December has been low. According to this, out of 1 lakh people, only 23 people are infected. At the same time, the estimate of 9.5% of GDP in the financial year 2022 is the highest in the world, which is a better sign for the economy.
