While there were 202 incidents of stone pelting in 2019, only 39 cases have been registered so far this year. On October 7, terrorist Mehran Yasin Shalla had killed the principal and teacher of a government school in Safakadal, Srinagar. He was killed on 24 November.

Terrorist Adil Ah Wani had killed carpenter and Saharanpur resident Sagir Ahmed Ansari near Litar bus stand in Anantnag. Wani was gunned down by security forces in Shopian on October 20. Similarly, on October 17, terrorist Gulzar Ahmed Reshi was involved in the killing of two laborers of Bihar and a laborer was injured in Wanpoh of Kulgam. Sources said Reshi was gunned down on October 20.

According to sources in the security agencies, a framework for better coordination between the Jammu and Kashmir Police, intelligence agencies and the army has been prepared to deal with terrorism. The damage caused by terrorism can be reduced. Sources said that the main focus of the operation against terrorism is to prevent the killing of innocent people.

For this reason, surgical operations are being done under intelligence. There is intelligence that because of this, Pakistan-based terrorist masters have instructed terrorists operating in Kashmir to kill at least 10 civilians whenever security forces launch an anti-terrorist operation. When asked about it, a particular section is focusing to capture the lost space.
