The Department of Water has become active on the budget announcements of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. Preparations have been completed to implement the new project of 115 crore rupees announced for the Sanganer region in the budget by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. Within a month of the announcement, the additional chief secretary of the department, Sudhansh Pant, has issued financial approval for this.
According to the Chief Minister’s announcement, drinking water has to be supplied from Malpura Road to Tonk Road and Bisalpur Dam for the colonies of Pratap Nagar area. For this project of about 115 crore rupees, Additional Chief Engineer Jaipur (Second) Department of Water Supply, Manish Beniwal made a proposal and sent it to the Finance Department for financial approval. After testing, the Finance Department has issued financial approval for this much awaited drinking water project of Sanganer region in exactly one month of the budget announcement.
Projects should be completed by fixing time line
ACS Sudhansh Pant has instructed the top officials of the water supply department regarding the budget announcements that work should be started as soon as possible for the implementation of the budget announcements. Projects should be completed by fixing their time line so that drinking water can be easily available to the people in urban and rural areas. Eight high reservoirs will be constructed under the Sanganer-Bisalpur scheme. At the same time, 258 kilometers of distribution system will be prepared along with a 28-km rising line. The work of this scheme will be started on the ground from August 15 by the Department of Water. This scheme will solve the problem of drinking water of a large area of the capital Jaipur. For a long time, the need of a big project was felt for this area.
