February 27 (talk) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar pledged to fulfill the needs of the judiciary on behalf of the government to provide justice to the people, saying that it is not only the government’s job to uphold the rule of law, the judiciary is also very big Role.
Mr. Kumar said in the inaugural function of Shatabdi Bhawan of Patna High Court in the presence of Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Sharad Arvind Bobade and Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad that the trial work should be speeded up for crime control. He said that the legislature can make laws but the biggest role is that of the judiciary.
The Chief Minister said that in the year 2005, when he got a chance to work in the state, the trial in the case of crime was monitored at the level of Patna High Court and the trial went on fast. He monitored the district which was responsible to the judges. The court acted and the culprits began to be punished. This reduced the incidence of crime in Bihar.
