Summer season in all four Dhams: Snow disappeared from Badrinath-Kedarnath Dham

There was good snowfall in Uttarakhand this time. There was good snowfall in all the four dhams, but due to the change in weather, the snow is melting rapidly in the four dhams due to the rapid increase in heat by the end of March. The situation is that in Badrinath Dham, where snow used to stay up to four feet at this time of the year, there is no snow now. This year, there was no need to remove snow from the premises in Kedarnath Dham as the snow has melted here. Apart from this, there is little snow left in Gangotri and Yamunotri. Meteorologists say that if there is no rain and the heat continues like this, then the high peaks will also become snowless. In view of the situation, the journey of both the pilgrimages can be started soon.
Snow will melt completely by the time the doors open
Local residents say that if the heat continues like this, the snow will melt completely by the time the doors are opened and this year the pilgrims will not be able to see snow in the Dhams from close quarters. Meteorologist Dr. Gautam of Garhwal University says that this time there was no rain in the month of March. Due to the loss of moisture and increasing dryness in the atmosphere, the heat has suddenly increased. As a result, the ice is melting faster. By the time of April, the humidity of the atmosphere decreased, due to which the solar radiation has increased rapidly.
The month of March was the hottest in the last 122 years
Let us tell you that the month of March 2022 has been the hottest in the last 122 years. This time the mercury had crossed 40 in the month of March and the biggest reason for this is global warming. Earlier, the normal average temperature in March 2010 was 33.09 degree centigrade, while in March 2022 the average temperature rose to 33.1 degree centigrade. If we talk about March 2020, then there was severe heat in many areas of North West India. In the last few years, we have experienced unseasonal above-normal heat, cold and rain.
