Indian Railway: Indian Railways became a ‘safety shield’ for the Railway Minister,

Today has been a very historic day for Indian Railways. Actually, Indian Railways has created a new history by testing the indigenously made Train Collision Protection System Kavach Technique. This technology was successfully tested in Secunderabad on Friday. During this, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav himself, Chairman of Railway Board and other officers of the department were also on board the train. Its video has also been shared by Ashwini Vaishnav on his Twitter handle.

It can be seen in the video that the train in which Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav was traveling during the test stopped 380 meters before the train coming from the opposite direction. Actually this happened due to armor technology and brakes were applied automatically in the train. The special thing is that this technology will work to prevent the collision of trains in case they come face to face. It can be seen in the video that the train in which Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav was boarding during the test collided with the train coming from the front. 380 meters already stopped. The special thing is that this technology will work to prevent the collision of trains in case they come face to face. According to senior railway officials, when the digital system detects any manual error like red signal or any other fault, through this technology the train passing through the respective route automatically stops. After implementing this technology, its operation will cost Rs 50 lakh per kilometer. It is very less as compared to other countries. Worldwide, about two crore rupees are spent on such technology.
