The Muslim population in Syria is about 70 percent, while in Egypt the Muslim population is about 90 percent. Governments here have banned full face coverings in universities from 2010 and 2015 respectively.
Currently, hijab and face covering are prohibited in countries like Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Austria, Bulgaria, Italy, France, Russia. There is no religious reason for the hijab ban in Switzerland. Rather, the government here has banned it, giving women the right to live freely. There is a tradition in Switzerland in which the face is shown, which is a symbol of freedom. When the burqa was banned in Switzerland, it was banned in the parliament there giving the same reason. Apart from this, this law was implemented to give national security and freedom to women.

Russia – In many cities of Russia, in the year 2012, there was a ban on hijab in schools or colleges, although this decision of the government was challenged in court, but the court also ruled in favor of the government.
In 2011, the French government completely banned the wearing of the hijab or covering the face in public places. There is a provision of fine of 13 thousand rupees for wearing hijab here. At the same time, a provision has been made for legal action against anyone who pressurizes anyone to cover the face.
Saudi Arabia- Women in Saudi Arabia are recognized as Abaya. It is a kind of loose-fitting dress. This garment covers the body of women from head to toe. Here women have to wear abaya in all the places where they can be seen by men who are not related to them.
Iran- Wearing the hijab has been made compulsory here since the Islamic Revolution of 1979. Apart from this, women are ordered to wear loose-fitting clothes in public places and cover their head and neck.

Italy and Sri Lanka- In Italy and Sri Lanka also wearing burqa or hijab is prohibited. In these countries, if any woman wears a burqa, then legal action is taken against her.
