In Nurpur village of Tappal, Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh, Hindu families, troubled by the atrocities of Muslims, are forced to migrate. It is alleged that in Nurpur village, people of Muslim community stop and beat up Hindus from taking the procession. Now the state president of Youth Brigade of AIMIM Owaisi, Syed Nazim Ali, has threatened that there will be Namaz in Nurpur, but Hindus will not be allowed to take out the procession there.
The MIMIM leader said that BJP’s Shakuntala Devi says, “If the procession is not allowed to go out from Noorpur, we will play brick by brick. I want to tell them that there will be namaz in Nurpur, no one can stop us. Yes, the procession will not go out from there without our permission. You bring bricks, stones, bullets or whatever.”
Challenging the BJP leaders, Nazim Ali said, “I say that the country will run by the constitution, not by anyone’s alphabets. To take out the procession from Nurpur, our permission will have to be taken from them. Otherwise all the leaders of BJP, not Shakuntala, should come and show them by taking out a procession there.
The controversy started on May 26, 2021. On this day a procession of two daughters was going together in a Dalit house. It is alleged that the mosque fell in the middle while bringing the procession. There some people belonging to the Muslim community started beating the processions. Told the procession that if the procession is to be taken, then one has to go on foot from the mosque. On this the procession returned. After the incident, 150 Hindu families residing in Nurpur have announced an exodus by selling their houses. These people had also put up a board of ‘House for sale’ outside their house.
