The Supreme Court has refused to ban Electoral Bonds just before the assembly elections in 5 states. This order is only for electoral bonds to be issued from April 1. The court has said that the electoral bond is right or wrong, it will be debated later. The court has dismissed the petition of ADR. Explain that through electoral bonds, corporate and private people donate to any political party.
The NGO ADR has challenged the system of electoral bonds in the Supreme Court. They say that private companies can control political parties by donating from electoral bonds. The court has said that the electoral bond is right or wrong, it will be heard later and only after that a decision will be given. At present, the Supreme Court has given only interim orders. Today’s order is only for the election of five states.
