The Special Task Force (STF) team of Uttar Pradesh suddenly raided the office of Popular Front of India in Delhi Shaheen Bagh. Apart from this, many other offices of banned organization PFI are also being raided. Apart from this, many people are also being questioned.
During the raid at Shaheen Bagh office, several important documents have been recovered by UP STF. These raids have been killed in connection with the case lodged at the police station in Mathura. The UP STF is investigating this case. The raid has been taken after getting a search warrant from the court.
The UP STF has arrested a member of the PFI student unit, who came to raid the Shaheen Bagh office to gather information about the same. The arrested member Rauf Sharif was arrested by the UP STF in Kerala, from where he has been brought on a production warrant.
There are serious allegations against Rauf such as inciting violence during protests against the CAA and NRC in UP and arranging funding for the riots in Hathras.
