Daupadi Murmu files nomination for the post of President

NDA candidate Draupadi Murmu has filed her nomination for the Presidential election. He filed his nomination in the office of the Secretary General of Rajya Sabha in the Parliament House. NDA’s solidarity was also seen during the nomination. During this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, BJP President JP Nadda and Chief Ministers of BJP ruled states including Yogi Adityanath, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Manohar Lal Khattar, Himanta Biswa Sarma, Pushkar Singh Dhami, all of NDA along with Chief Ministers. Big leaders were present.
Nomination was filed by Draupadi Murmu in 4 sets. In the first set, Prime Minister Modi became his first mover and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh became his seconder. The set contains members of the BJP Parliamentary Board, Union Ministers and Ministers of State. There are 60 proposers and 60 seconders in each set. BJP President JP Nadda is the proposer in the second set. The chief ministers of all the BJP ruled states are the proposers in this set. The third set is of MLAs from Himachal and Haryana while the fourth set is of MLAs from Gujarat. Along with this, Biju Janata Dal and YSR have also signed these sets.
Draupadi Murmu’s victory in the presidential election is believed to be certain. The NDA is well ahead of the majority mark due to the support of Naveen Patnaik and Jagan Mohan Reddy. While the opposition is far behind the winning figure. Due to this Draupadi Murmu can be the next President of the country. His name was announced by BJP President JP Nadda on June 21 after a parliamentary party meeting in the presence of Prime Minister Modi. The last date for filing nomination papers is June 29. If necessary, polling will be conducted on July 18 and counting of votes will be done on July 21. Before filing his nominations, Murmu paid homage at the statues of Mahatma Gandhi, Dr Ambedkar and Birsa Munda in the Parliament House complex.
Prime Minister Modi has encouraged the poor by making tribal teacher Draupadi Murmu, first the governor and now the candidate for the country’s highest post. He has inspired them to dream and make them come true. She has assured that the present central government is working diligently to fulfill her dreams. When BJP President Nadda announced Draupadi Murmu’s name on 21st June, she was at her home in Mahuldiha, her village in Mayurbhanj, Odisha. But she was Till the announcement, she would not have thought that she is going to be made a candidate from the ruling party for the biggest post of the country. After announcing her candidature, Draupadi Murmu told the local media that I am surprised and happy because I have been made the presidential candidate. I never thought that I would be made a candidate for this post. After the announcement of the candidature, Draupadi Murmu’s daughter Itishree told that that evening there was a call from the Prime Minister. Whatever he said, but mother fell silent after that. There were tears in her eyes, she could not say anything. After a while, I could just say thank you and that too with great difficulty. Itishree further told that the mother told him that it was like a dream. The journey from the hut to the top post can only be a dream. The people of the tribal community do not even see such a dream. Later talking to the media, Draupadi Murmu said that this moment is historic for me, tribals and women. Murmu, a tribal woman who once worked as a teacher, will climb the stairs of Raisina Hill for the first time.
When the name was announced, Draupadi Murmu first reached the Shiva temple located in Rairangpur, Odisha. Here he himself cleaned the temple with a broom and also gave the message of cleanliness. She also reached Zahira, a tribal place of worship. The central government has given him Z plus category security and now CRPF personnel will be deployed in his security. Born on June 20, 1958 in Baidaposi village of Mayurbhanj district of Odisha, Draupadi Murmu has struggled a lot in her life. His family was very poor. Shortly after marriage she lost her husband and both her sons. Murmu started his career as a teacher to run the household and educate his daughter and then he also took up a job as a junior assistant ie clerk in the irrigation department of Odisha. Draupadi Murmu, who has lost her husband and two sons, has only one daughter, Iti Murmu, whom she takes care of from the salary she gets from the job and educates her daughter Iti.
