‘Played’ in Maharashtra….Uddhav government in crisis

There are signs of reversal of power in Maharashtra once again. In the MLC elections on Monday, the BJP dealt a blow to the Shiv Sena-led MVA alliance and after this, more than a dozen MLAs of the party have rebelled on Tuesday. Due to this, clouds of danger have started looming over the Uddhav government of Maharashtra. Shiv Sena’s Urban Development Minister Eknath Shinde, a close aide of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, has camped in Gujarat’s Surat along with 15 Shiv Sena MLAs, 14 Independents and one NCP MLA. All this has turned against Uddhav Thackeray. Apart from Shinde, there are 3 other ministers in this group.

There are signs of reversal of power in Maharashtra once again. All this has turned against Uddhav Thackeray. Apart from Shinde, there are 3 other ministers in this group. The news of Shinde leaving Mumbai came from Surat itself at around 8 am.

There was massive cross voting in the elections to the Maharashtra Legislative Council. The ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) has again suffered a setback in the elections held on Monday for 10 seats. While BJP won five seats alone, Shiv Sena and NCP won two seats each, while Congress got only one seat. After the Rajya Sabha elections, for the second time in a row, the MVA seems to be slipping the ground of CM and Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray. The fear of cross voting has deepened because Shiv Sena got only 52 votes despite its 55 MLAs and supporting independent MLAs. Two and a half dozen MLAs including Shiv Sena and Independents are in a Surat hotel with Eknath Shinde. According to sources, 15 Shiv Sena MLAs, including Shinde, are staying at Le Meridien Hotel in Surat.

Rathod, Sandipan Bhumre, Udai Singh Rajput, Sanjay Shirsath, Ramesh Bornare, Pradeep Jaiswal, Abdul Sattar and Tanaji Sawant. Shinde was not in touch with Shiv Sena since yesterday. He is a senior Shiv Sena leader in Maharashtra and is currently the Urban Development Minister in the Thackeray government. It has been told that there is a rift with the Thackeray family. They are not even picking up the calls of party chief and CM Uddhav Thackeray. 145 MLAs are needed for majority in the 288-member Maharashtra Assembly. Some seats are vacant and some MLAs are in jail, so the effective strength is 285. In such a situation, the support of 143 members is needed for the majority. The Uddhav Thackeray government has the support of 153 MLAs. If there is a split in Shiv Sena, then some MLAs of Congress may also break up and join BJP. BJP is already the largest party. BJP has 106 MLAs while NDA has 113 MLAs. So she can claim their support by making a claim.
