Many mysteries of Mahabharata will be exposed due to the commendable step of the central government

Hastinapur is considered the capital of Kauravas and Pandavas. Archaeologists claim that they have discovered some elements related to the Mahabharata period. According to which the ongoing excavation may help in finding a link to it. The central government under the Ministry of Culture is in the process of developing five archeological sites as ‘iconic sites’ along with on-site museums. The selected destinations include Hastinapur (UP), Sivasagar (Assam), Rakhigarhi (Haryana), Dholavira (Gujarat) and Adichanallur (Tamil Nadu). Hastinapur is located at a distance of 30 km from the district headquarters in Meerut and is considered to be the capital of the ‘Kuru Kingdom’ of the Mahabharata period.
Meerut District Magistrate K. Balaji held a meeting with the officials in this regard on Thursday and directed the Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Mawana area Amit Kumar Gupta, Regional Tourism Officer Anju Chaudhary and other officials to identify 5 acres of land for setting up the museum. Balaji said that These ‘iconic sites’ and museums will help to attract tourists and provide authentic information about history and culture to researchers and those with a keen interest in history. The team of RSS had started excavation in a notified area called ‘Ulta Khera’ a week ago. Historian KK Sharma said that the last excavation in Hastinapur was done in 1950 under the supervision of renowned archaeologist Dr B B Lal.

Now after 70 years, the site has again started excavation at the site. Professor Sharma further said, “This is a commendable step taken by the Central Government, being a teacher of history, I can say that such excavations at sites like Hastinapur provide an opportunity to peek into the rich history of the region and reach authentic conclusions. provides access. It is worth noting that the on-site museums of the ‘Iconic Sites’ will house excavations along with details of the rich heritage and culture of the country. While other cities and places flourished and developed after independence, a pillar of historical importance known as Hastinapur is still deserted.
This place was included in the five sites to be developed as ‘Celebrity Sites’, as Hastinapur is also mentioned in Mahabharata and ancient Jain texts. The professor said that encroachment in and around the notified sites of ASI is a matter of concern as such encroachments destroy many important archaeological facts forever. We know that Mahabharata is much older than that, Hastinapur will become the new tourist spot of the country, let us tell you that no matter how deep the truth is, no matter how long it takes to bring it in front of everyone in the society, but the truth always remains true. It is a clear fact about the myths related to Mahabharata that the Mahabharata or other religious texts were never fictional, nor are the followers of Hindu religion so foolish that they cannot differentiate between truth and falsehood. In such a situation, the excavation which has started this time, there is a strong possibility of removing the curtain from many facts and mysteries. In such a situation, if this is true, then in the coming future, not only will the appearance of Hastinapur change, but with world-class facilities, Hastinapur will also become a new tourist spot in the country.
