Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinet had called BJP leader Sambit Patra a “drain worm” during a live debate on Aaj Tak. However, this was not the first instance that Congress leaders had made such remarks on live TV, whether it was to a BJP leader or a TV anchor. Some Congress leaders have even tried to physically attack. Congress leaders have not left TV debates worth watching.
Recently, a Twitter user named @moronhumour has created a thread of similar instances when Congress spokespersons have shown no hesitation in using abusive language against their opponents. And former ET Now journalist Supriya Shrinet has a similar record of using abusive language in the past.
