Naidu wishes for National Science Day

On 28 February (talk) Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu while wishing for National Science Day has said that science should be used for peaceful purposes.
In a message released here on Sunday, Mr. Naidu said that science is the lifeline of human progress. On this occasion of National Science Day, everyone should take a pledge to use science for peace, development and raising the standard of living.
He said, “On National Science Day, I wish the country’s scientists, researchers, teachers and meritorious students the best. In the year 1928, on this day, the famous scientist Sir CV Raman discovered the Raman effect.”
