Naidu bowed to Savarkar

26 February (talk) Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu, while bowing down to Veer Savarkar, described him as an intense nationalist, a great revolutionary and a leading social reformer.
In a message issued on Friday on the death anniversary of Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, Shri Naidu said that he is a great revolutionary, freedom fighter, visionary. Was the author and the didactic. He was a social reformer who made tireless efforts to eradicate caste discrimination and poverty from society. His contribution in the freedom struggle will always be remembered.
Mr. Naidu said, “Salutations to the great nationalist thinker, great revolutionary, social reformer Swatantra Veer Savarkar on his death anniversary and his thoughts.”
The Vice President also referred to this statement of Veer Savarkar in his message, “Our daily behavior which strengthens history, society and nation is our religion.”
