24 February (talk) The Union Cabinet has recommended imposition of President’s rule in the Union Territory of Puducherry.
The central government has taken this step after the fall of the government led by Chief Minister V Narayanasamy in Puducherry and the Bharatiya Janata Party and allies did not stake claim to form the government.
