Budget will realize the concept of ‘self-reliant Uttar Pradesh’: Yogi

On 22 February (talk), Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath termed the Financial Budget 2021-22 as an all-inclusive budget representing the sentiments of every section of society including poor, laborers, farmers, youth and women, and said that during the Kovid period The budget will become a medium to give new hope, new energy and new possibilities of development in the state.
Shri Yogi said in a press conference held at Tilak Hall of Vidhan Bhavan that this budget is full of excellent feelings of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Faith which represents the sentiments of 24 crore people of the state. In the budget, there is a determination to tap every house, electricity in every house, water for every field and work for every hand.
He said that this budget will provide new dimensions to not only women empowerment and independence but also efforts to connect remote areas with banking facility through village secretariat, common service center, BC Sakhi, employment of women in community toilets. Will also play an important role towards making it digital.
The Chief Minister congratulated the Finance Minister and his entire team for creating a new history by presenting the first paperless budget of the state. Referring to the importance of financial discipline due to problems in revenue collection during the Corona period, the Chief Minister made ‘Ease of Living’ and ‘Self-reliant Uttar Pradesh’ to speed up the efforts for holistic and inclusive development and self-reliance of various sections. The concept was called a groundbreaker.
He said that a new scheme ‘Mahila Sashakti Yojana’ is being started in the budget towards women empowerment, for which a provision of 200 crore rupees has been proposed in the budget. Apart from this, Mukhyamantri Saksham Suraksha Yojana is being implemented to provide malnutrition to malnourished children. Provision has also been made in this budget to provide tablets to children of eligibility category under Mukhyamantri Abhyudaya Yojana.
